Veteran | Retired Law Enforcement Officer | Trauma-Focused Therapist

Hi, I’m Stuart,

I retired from law enforcement in 2017 then followed my heart into the world of mental health, where my mission became clear: to support the people who are so often holding everything together for others, everyday folks quietly carrying heavy loads. I’ve been honored to walk alongside individuals, teens (16+), and families who are navigating heartbreak, trauma, grief, and life’s unexpected storms. Each person I meet reminds me of the quiet strength we all carry—and the incredible power of hope.

My style as a therapist is grounded in warmth, trust, and genuine connection. I don’t believe in quick fixes or cookie-cutter answers. I believe in showing up, holding space, and walking through the hard stuff together. I use a blend of evidence-based approaches—DBT, CBT, ACT, EMDR, and ART—but more than that, I bring my full self into the room, ready to meet you exactly where you are.

Outside of work, I find joy in the simple things that keep me grounded—like cooking a cozy meal, exploring the outdoors with my amazing wife, snapping photos that capture the beauty in everyday moments, or heading off-road in my Jeep to clear my mind and reconnect with nature.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just plain tired, please know this: you don’t have to walk this road alone. Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken, it’s about honoring your story and finding your way forward, one gentle step at a time. I’d be honored to walk beside you.
