Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Colorado State University and earned her Master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. She is an associate mental health counselor with three years of experience supporting teens through older adults in private practice settings.
Her therapeutic style is person-centered and grounded in the belief that trust, safety, and honesty are foundational to the healing process. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy, she helps clients build coping strategies, increase self-awareness, and set goals that reflect their values and needs. She specializes in addressing wounds of self-worth and is passionate about helping clients navigate the deeper patterns that impact their mental and emotional wellness.
She enjoys working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and faith-based concerns – seeing clients ages 16 and up. With a deep respect for each person’s story, she aims to cultivate a space of honesty, insight, and growth—guiding clients toward a grounded sense of self that can carry them through life’s inevitable challenges.
Outside the therapy room, she enjoys ice skating, roller blading, weightlifting, hiking, and reading. A former professional skater with four years of experience skating and maintaining ice surfaces in the NHL, she brings discipline, creativity, and resilience into her life and her work. She finds joy in witnessing her clients’ transformation as they take meaningful steps toward healing, change and their authentic selves.
