Cody is a licensed social worker originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. With extensive experience working with young adults (15+), adults, and couples, Cody has addressed a wide range of challenges including social anxiety, sports performance, generalized anxiety, ADHD, dating relationships, marital conflict, parenting, school or work stress, life transitions, existential crisis, and grief. His therapeutic approach integrates various evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method, and mindfulness practices. By combining these approaches, Cody helps clients gain a deeper understanding of their struggles while equipping them with practical skills and strategies to restore balance and improve their lives. He believes in empowering individuals to redefine their self-perception and become the best version of themselves.
Cody is focused on promoting a therapeutic setting that is built on strong rapport, trust, and connection, with a foundation of acceptance and non-judgment.
Outside of his professional work, Cody enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids, reviewing movies, collecting shoes and vinyl records, and engaging in sports such as basketball and golf. He also practices meditation regularly.
