Cody is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and received his masters degree in social work from the University of Utah. Cody has experience with young adults (16+), adults, couples, and families with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, marital problems, and stress. He primarily uses EMDR, CBT, DBT, Gottman, and meditation. He integrates these models to help his clients build insight into their problems and learn specific skills and strategies to establish balance in all aspects of their lives and change what they believe about themselves. He considers himself a guide in helping his clients tap into their own definition of the best version of themselves. He seeks to create an environment of acceptance and inclusion and values all cultural, spiritual, personal, and interpersonal experiences.
Cody spends his free time with his wife and daughter reviewing movies, collecting shoes and vinyl records, playing basketball, golf, and doing meditation.
