Healing is possible — even from the experiences that feel too heavy to carry alone.

Larissa is a compassionate and highly experienced therapist who works with teens and adults of all ages. She specializes in treating both simple and complex trauma, helping individuals move beyond survival mode and into a more meaningful, fulfilling life. With extensive training in EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Larissa provides structured, evidence-based support tailored to each client’s unique needs.

In addition to trauma work, Larissa has years of experience treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and a wide range of mental health concerns. She also works with couples using the Gottman Method, helping partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection.

Larissa’s guiding philosophy is that people are doing the best they can with the tools they currently have. Therapy is a collaborative process where new tools are learned, practiced, and strengthened. She believes that when clients are able to safely process and resolve past trauma, they gain the freedom to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.

Larissa earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in Colorado. She practiced in Oregon for over eight years before relocating to Herriman. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, playing the piano, and quilting.

If you’re ready to process past experiences, strengthen relationships, and build skills that support lasting change, Larissa would be honored to support you on your journey.
