Tanya is compassionate and person-centered in her approach to care and works with clients ages 12 and up. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize their unique strengths and build on them as they move through challenges and toward greater well-being. Tanya has experience supporting teens, parents, and individuals navigating infertility and adoption-related experiences.
Her approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, utilizing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing to help clients develop lifelong coping skills while working through difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She focuses on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can grow with confidence, resilience, and self-understanding.
Tanya is receiving her education from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, where she focused on developing skills to support individuals and families across a variety of life stages.
Outside of the office, Tanya enjoys hiking, biking, snowshoeing, reading, playing strategy games, and spending quality time with her family. She prioritizes balance and healthy relationships in her own life, bringing that same intention into her work with clients.
