Valerie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Valerie has experience in working with individuals of all ages and addressing a wide range of concerns. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, body image, attachment, and self-esteem. Valerie is passionate about providing inclusive care and enjoys working with those in the LGBTQ+ community.
Valerie offers a client centered and trauma-informed approach and utilizes ACT, TF-CBT, DBT, and IFS based interventions. She strives to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment where individuals feel safe as well as empowered, Valerie believes everyone is deserving of love and healing.
In her spare time, Valerie enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling. She finds spending time in nature helps her feel grounded and connected.
