Originally from California, Steven is an experienced therapist who works with teens, adults, couples, and families across a wide range of concerns. He specializes in anxiety, trauma, depression, addiction, learning disorders, ADHD, and crisis intervention. Steven also has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, bringing both clinical knowledge and practical strategies to his work.

His therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Gottman Method principles for couples. Steven focuses on providing structured, goal-oriented care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel understood and empowered.

Steven’s background spans both public and private sectors, including schools, clinics, and the foster care system. This diverse experience allows him to skillfully navigate behavioral challenges, family dynamics, and high-acuity situations with confidence and compassion.

He is trained in crisis intervention and behavior disorders. Steven earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education, his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in Los Angeles, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Alliant National University.
