Cassidy is a compassionate therapist who works with children (ages six and up), teens, individuals, and families. She has experience supporting clients through a variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and sexual misconduct among teen girls. Cassidy is dedicated to helping clients feel understood while building the skills and confidence needed to move forward.
Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based, focusing on empowering clients to recognize their abilities and develop effective tools for navigating life’s challenges. Cassidy incorporates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and mindfulness practices.
Cassidy believes that with the right support and skills, each person has the ability to overcome obstacles and create meaningful change. She prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Cassidy earned her undergraduate degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University–Idaho and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. Her background working with a diverse clientele allows her to tailor treatment to the unique needs and experiences of each individual and family she works with.
Outside of her clinical work, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves gathering with friends and family, reading a good book, and never passes up the chance to enjoy a sweet treat.
