Growth and healing begin in a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to be yourself.

McKenzie is a thoughtful and compassionate therapist who works with individuals at the middle stages of life and below, supporting children (ages 10 and up), teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community. She strives to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and build meaningful change.

Her clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma. McKenzie uses a strengths-based, person-in-environment framework and integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), strengths-based and mindfulness practices. She focuses on helping clients better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and reconnect with their strengths.

McKenzie is committed to fostering a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow in ways that align with their values and goals.

McKenzie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, where she studied Philosophy and Peace and Conflict Studies with a focus on social justice. She went on to complete her Master of Social Work at the University of Denver. Her academic background informs her holistic and reflective approach to therapy.

Outside of her clinical work, McKenzie enjoys hiking and spending time in nature. She is particularly interested in the connection between the natural world and mental health, and how cultivating a relationship with nature can support overall well-being.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful and collaborative therapy experience where your voice and story matter, McKenzie is here to support you.
