Shay is a compassionate therapist with a strong background in social work and child development. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, completing a double major in Human Development and Family Studies & Social Work, and went on to receive her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California.
Shay works with children, teens, and adult women (ages five and up), creating a warm and supportive space to explore emotions, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. She helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, and relationship challenges. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness. With adults, Shay often helps clients explore how early experiences shape current patterns, supporting greater self-understanding, confidence, and emotional growth.
Shay believes that a strong therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for healing, allowing clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting well-being. Outside of her work, Shay enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, crocheting, and playing games.
