Healing is a journey — and you deserve an experienced guide who walks beside you with compassion and skill.

Meet Marcie, a seasoned therapist with over 29 years of experience working in mental health, substance use treatment, and with justice-involved clients. She brings depth, wisdom, and steady support to individuals and couples navigating some of life’s most difficult seasons.

Marcie specializes in trauma-informed, individualized care tailored to each client’s unique needs. She is trained in EMDR and multiple evidence-based treatment modalities, allowing her to support clients struggling with depression, anxiety, simple and complex trauma, substance use, mental illness, grief and loss, and relationship challenges. She is especially passionate about working with women through all phases of life, supporting teens and families, and helping couples strengthen, reunite, and rebuild connection.

Marcie believes healing happens in a safe, compassionate environment where clients can build practical skills, process painful experiences, and rediscover their strength. Her approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in helping individuals grow into the healthiest version of themselves.

She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Brigham Young University and completed Substance Use Disorder training at the University of Utah.

Outside of her professional work, Marcie loves spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors, traveling, meeting new people, learning from other cultures, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs — her hometown team.

With decades of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families, Marcie provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to help you move toward healing, growth, and renewed hope.
